7.2.2. Hazard Monitoring Controls

Gas monitoring – in situ content, composition, pressure; goaf gas monitoring – fire and heating indicator gases and ratios; temperature and condition monitoring of installed mechanical equipment that operates remotely; ventilation monitoring; workplace and condition inspection; water monitoring – flooded working levels, surface reservoir locations and proximity to workings; roof convergence; strata stress regime; support installation standards; roadway drivage standards and conditions.
